We are in the endgame now! One of the most anticipated films of all time arrived in theaters this weekend after a build up that began in 2008 and 22 films later we have watched the Marvel Cinematic Universe unfold and now come full circle with the release of Avengers: Endgame. We go in depth discussing the accumulation of the Infinity Saga as the Avengers look for a way to reverse what Thanos did after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. We break the film down and talk the journey of the heroes in this finale of the current chapter of the MCU. There are spoilers abound but we give you fair warning when they begin so no worries there if you have not seen the film yet!
We also look at the legacy of the MCU, where it goes from here, and talk about our 5 favorite moments from the first chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Plus we tell you what we have watched in Download This, discuss the latest news, continue to prepare for Comicpalooza, and preview next week's film, 1994's The Crow. Thanks for listening!

Aliens are living on our planet in the slums of the an area known as District 9 in South Africa! It's up to one man to try to hand out eviction notices as they attempt to move all of the aliens. It turns into much more than he bargained for as his world crumbles around him as he tries to survive while uncovering sinister details about District 9 itself. It's Neil Blomkamp's directorial debut film District 9 & we discuss it live from Misfit Toys in Houston, Texas!
That's right we recorded this episode live at Misfit Toys where we speak to Daniel the owner of this very cool nostalgic store in town. We discuss how Misfit Toys got started, why Transformers means so much to him, some of his favorite toys & much more! Space & Beyond Month continues as we look back at the cult classic science fiction film, Enemy Mine. Dennis Quaid & Louis Gossett Jr. star in this Wolfgang Peterson film as a long space war looms on between the humans and the Dracs. Quaid is human pilot Davidge who crash lands on a hostile planet with a Drac solider named Jeriba. First they set out to kill or capture one another but quickly realize to survive they must put their differences aside & join forces. A friendship like no other develops as their quest for survival reveals that sometimes your enemies can be your closes friends! We take a look at this cult classic & go behind the scenes of the production, the film itself, & more!
We also discuss if DC Universe is worth it in Download This, talk that new Joker trailer, idiots spending thousands for Avengers: Endgame tickets, & talk some of our favorite cult classic sci-fi flicks! We then preview next weeks flick, District 9, which we will be recording live at Misfit Toys!

In the midst of the French-Indian War the last members of the Mohican tribe, Hawkeye, Chingachgook, and his son Uncas get caught in between lines of a war they want no part of when they come to the aid of daughters of a British Colonel. A sprawling adventure takes place of romance, war, intrigue, & wonderful film from director Michael Mann. Daniel Day-Lewis stars in this spectacular classic with breath taking cinematography, a rousing musical score, and adventure like no other. We discuss The Last Of The Mohicans on this week's episode!

Steven Spielberg defined the summer blockbuster in 1975 when he brought Richard Dreyfuss, Roy Scheider, & Robert Shaw to the big screen in his all time classic, Jaws. A shark is killing people in the small resort town of Amity Island and it's up to Sheriff Brody & two unlikely companions to hunt and kill the shark before it terrorizes the town even further! It's jaw dropping suspense around every corner in the movie that made people afraid to get into the water! We discuss Jaws and what makes this such a great classic!

Ashitaka finds himself the victim of a Tatarigami curse while protecting his village. On his journey to find the cure he comes across war between the gods of the forest and the mining colony of Tatara. While on this quest he meets San, the Mononoke Princess who may be the key to dissolving the conflict and finding the cure before it kills him. It's an epic adventure from Studio Ghibli mastermind Hayao Miyazaki and one of the greatest animated films ever made. Sit back & listen as we discuss this masterpiece!

Drebin's means aren't always conventional but he gets the job done anyway he can as he chases down the evil Vincent Ludwig as he attempts to use mind control to do dastardly deeds! It's comedy gold in this all time classic full of hi-jinks, laughs, & some of the best comedy gags ever put on screen as we discuss The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad!

We discuss the film that brought the prolific director to the big screen in this incredible debut film that almost did not get made if it wasn't for Harvey Keitel. Memphis Raines returns home to find his little brother in trouble. To save him, he has to boost fifty cars in one night or his little brother is toast. Raines puts together a rag tag team to pull off the heist of a lifetime in this fun action film from the early part of this century. We talk the film, what it does right, what it does wrong, and have some fun with the ridiculousness of it all!
