What is the key tot he human soul? That is the reason for the crude experiments of The Strangers as a man awakens to find himself confused & lost in the sci fi masterpiece, Dark City! Rufus Sewell stars as John Murdock who wakes up accused of murder but finds himself in a city in which there is no day light, things are not what they seem, and he is being pursued by a group known as The Strangers who he may have more in common with than he realizes. It's a puzzle of unique style, mystery, and incredible story telling by director Alex Proyas as the film unfolds! We discuss the film that also stars WIlliam Hurt, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jennifer Connelly.
Also on the show, Mark doesn't like the 1978 film Halloween as he finally watches it in this week's Download This. Matt binges Daredevil season 3 and in the news we discuss Andrew Lincoln leaving The Walking Dead, a Flash Gordon remake, and more! We then talk about the success of Red Dead Redemption 2 and which movies we would like to see turned into a video game! All this and a preview of next week's episode featuring the 2000 Oscar winning film, Gladiator!

Happy Halloween & welcome to our first ever Halloween Special! As you prepare for tricks & treats this horror filled night sit back and relax with a special episode! We look at what makes Halloween so much fun, so unique, and where it all got started. Your hosts discuss what they enjoy about Halloween and then we talk about a movie to cap off our Halloween Horrors month!
We discuss the Universal classic, Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman. It's thrilling crossover like no other as two monsters clash in this tale of horror beyond your imagination! Larry Talbot wakes up still with the curse of the Wolf in him and looks for a way to end his suffering. In doing so he awakens a monster as bent on death and destruction as he is! It's a duel to the death as these two monsters meet on the big screen! We look back at the classic Universal Monster history, what will it take to properly reboot it, and discuss what makes these films stand the test of time! All this in our Halloween Special! Enjoy!

Jack is the ruler of Halloween Town but he is tired of the same scares and theatrics year after year and needs something new in his life! So after discovering the portals to other worlds like his he finds a magical place known as Christmas Land and naturally decides to think he can do Christmas better & make it his own. Upon his journey Jack finds the true meaning of Christmas but also realizes his purpose of being the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town! It's a magical amazing animated adventure from the mind of Tim Burton as we look back on this modern classic to conclude our Halloween Horrors month!
We also talk some Daredevil Season 3 in Download This and in news the Teen Titans are returning in 2019 to take on their Teen Titans Go counterparts, as well as news on Wonder Woman, Boba Fett & more. We then preview our next film, the 1998 science fiction thriller, Dark City!

Our Halloween Horrors month continues as we look at the critically acclaimed Vampire thriller, Let The Right One In. A young boy is lost amongst his peers at school and befriends a young girl who is not what she seems. Eli is over 300 years old and needs blood to survive while Oskar just needs someone to be there for him. It's a bond like no other and a vampire tale like you have never seen before. This wonderful film is discussed as we talk about what it does for Vampire lore and more!

1, 2 Freddy's coming for you! He's already here as Halloween Horror's month continues as we revisit 1984's classic A Nightmare On Elm Street. Freddy Krueger is a horror icon and this is the film that started it all. His gruesome beginings are laid out in this Wes Craven directed film as Nancy and her friends deal with horrible nightmares in which they are preyed upon by the evil Krueger. Are they just dreams or reality as she tries to find a way to stop him! We talk this horror classic and more!

It's not safe in the waters of the Amazon as the creatre is swimming the waters looking for his next victim! We discuss the classic Creature From The Black Lagoon! This classic creature feature from 1954 is the movie that inspired The Shape Of Water & more in the first part of our double feature! We then go back to 1941 and talk the Lon Chaney Jr. starring classic The Wolf Man! Is there a curse in the town of aristocrat Larry Talbot or is it all in his mind? Is the Wolf Man real and killing people on certain nights? Find out in this thrilling adventure!

This classic animated film is dear to many who grew up with it as we watched the action unfold on screen in which new Transformers were introduced, heroes and villains died, and the Matrix Of Leadership was our only hope to defeat the evil planet killer Unicron! Transformers The Movie is one of the greatest and most epic animated films ever made & we discuss it as well as our favorite Transformers, favorite toy from the line, and discuss the new Bumblebee trailer!

A much different movie than the original classic but a lot to like about the urban jungle sequel as well. We talk Predator 2 and how it works as a sequel with it's bizzare voodoo gangs, a young cocky Bill Paxton, a tough as nails Gary Busey, and a Predator that adapts to the challenges as he goes on the hunt!
We also talk Fandemic Tour, the new comic-con in Houston, Texas that we attended and talk about some of the fun we had there! They call him the Daywalker, born a Vampire as he fights for justice in a dark world of corruption! He is Blade! We go back 20 years to one of the first succsessful Marvel franchises long before the Avengers hit the silver screen as Wesley Snipes and Stephen Dorff battle it out in this film that spawned two sequels, a television series, and an anime. We are joined this episode by author Ashley Nemer as she discusses the film with us as well as talks about her new book she has coming out September 18th.
Ashley talks about The Ones Who Lived, her exciting new young adult novel about a group of teenagers living in a world in which all the adults are suddenly gone! She talks about her inspirations, her favorite authors, her works so far, and geeks out with us on Captain Marvel, Blade, and other things! We are glad she joined us and we hope you enjoy it as well!
