You will believe a man can fly! For 40 years Superman The Movie has entertained audiences and movie lovers across the world and in this episode Mark & Matt look back at this all time classic. He fights for truth, justice, & the American way as young Kal-El is sent to Earth from the dying planet Krypton. On Earth he gains amazing abilities that make him a Superman amongst humans as he fights against evil in the world and villains such as Lex Luthor! We celebrate 40 years of Superman The Movie by looking at the amazing cast performances, the score of John Williams & go behind the scenes to look at this film 40 years later in the first of a two part episode that looks at this film as well as it's sequel Superman II in next week's episode.
We also tell you what we content we absorbed in Download This, look at news including the latest on that Avengers 4 trailer, and talk about bears doing crazy things. It's all here as as well as a preview of next week's conclusion to our celebration of the Man Of Steel as we take a brief look at Superman II for the next episode! Enjoy!

Ride with the Bandit as we look back at the 1977 Burt Reynolds starring chase movie Smokey & The Bandit! The Bandit decides to take on a run of bootlegging alcohol because he wants the money, but also just for the fun of it. His partner Snowman and himself catch the pursuit of Sheriff Buford T. Justice who will cross state lines at nothing to bring the Bandit to justice and get his future daughter in law back. Burt Reynolds is charismatic, Sally Field is spunky & fun, Jerry Reed plays the Snowman and Jackie Gleason brings comedy to the role of Sheriff Justice as only he can! We look back at the classic Smokey & The Bandit and pay tribute to the great Burt Reynolds!
We also discuss The Christmas Chronicles now on Netflix & enjoy Kurt Russel as Santa Clause immensely! Also the latest news including Keanu Reeves in Toy Story 4, live action The Lion King & more! We then preview our next episode as we get ready to look back at 40 years of Superman: The Movie!

Balboa walks the streets of Philadelphia living life and looking for something big in his life. When he is given that chance he takes it and runs with it to give Apollo a fight he will never forget. Sylvester Stallone stars in this true classic that won Best Picture in 1976! We discuss the film and go behind the scenes of how Stallone convinced the studio to make the movie. We also rank the Rocky films & talk about our favorite movies of the saga.

Welcome true believers to a very special episode of the show! We pay our respects and tribute to the man who has brought so much to our lives. The world lost a legend this week when Stan Lee left us at 95 years of age but has left behind a legacy that has touched the lives of us and so many throughout the world. We take a look at the creations he has given us in the Marvel Universe and what he means to us. We share our own Stan Lee memories, as well as talk about our favorite cameos from his films. We look at the film legacy that is Spider-Man, one of Lee's favorite characters and rank the Spider-Man films so far! The world will always be a little more sensational, amazing, uncanny, and incredible thanks to Stan Lee as we look back on the life of the inspiring creator known as Stan "The Man" Lee! Excelsior!

What is the key tot he human soul? That is the reason for the crude experiments of The Strangers as a man awakens to find himself confused & lost in the sci fi masterpiece, Dark City! Rufus Sewell stars as John Murdock who wakes up accused of murder but finds himself in a city in which there is no day light, things are not what they seem, and he is being pursued by a group known as The Strangers who he may have more in common with than he realizes. It's a puzzle of unique style, mystery, and incredible story telling by director Alex Proyas as the film unfolds! We discuss the film that also stars WIlliam Hurt, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jennifer Connelly.
Also on the show, Mark doesn't like the 1978 film Halloween as he finally watches it in this week's Download This. Matt binges Daredevil season 3 and in the news we discuss Andrew Lincoln leaving The Walking Dead, a Flash Gordon remake, and more! We then talk about the success of Red Dead Redemption 2 and which movies we would like to see turned into a video game! We discuss the Universal classic, Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman. It's thrilling crossover like no other as two monsters clash in this tale of horror beyond your imagination! Larry Talbot wakes up still with the curse of the Wolf in him and looks for a way to end his suffering. In doing so he awakens a monster as bent on death and destruction as he is! It's a duel to the death as these two monsters meet on the big screen! So after discovering the portals to other worlds like his he finds a magical place known as Christmas Land and naturally decides to think he can do Christmas better & make it his own. Upon his journey Jack finds the true meaning of Christmas but also realizes his purpose of being the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town! It's a magical amazing animated adventure from the mind of Tim Burton as we look back on this modern classic to conclude our Halloween Horrors month!
