In 1993 160 elite US soldiers went into Somalia to capture a renegade warlord. What was suppose to be a simple in and out mission turns into a deadly firefight for their lives after two black hawk choppers are downed by the enemy. Ridley Scott directs an amazing cast of actors in telling the story based on actual events from the 1993 mission. Black Hawk Down is their story to make sure no man is left behind in this exhilarating & breath taking film from 2001. For our special Memorial Day episode we discuss this modern war film & pay tribute to those who have served their countries across the world.
We also tell you what we have watched lately in Download This, discuss the latest news on a possible Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic movie, Akira coming to the big screen, and will the Spawn reboot ever happen, & that Terminator: Dark Fate trailer! We are back from Comicpalooza and on the case of the mystery of who framed Roger Rabbit! The 1998 film directed by Robert Zemeckis stars Bob Hoskins & Christopher Lloyd as famous Toon star Roger Rabbit is set up for the murder of Marvin Acme. Private Investigator Eddie Valiant hates Toons though but takes the case as he deals with the sultry Jessica Rabbit, Roger's wife, as well as Judge Doom's minions who insist on capturing Roger and sentencing him to death in the dip! It's a live action animation blended classic like no other as we talk Who Framed Roger Rabbit!
We also give a full report as we have returned from Comicpalooza and tell you all about the fun we had at the show! We are live from the show floor at Comicpalooza as we go back to 1999 and take a look back at the legacy of Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace! The film that gave us Qui Gon Jin, Jar Jar Binks, Darth Maul, Padme Amidalia, & much more is now 20 years old as we look back at the anticipation, excitement, & legacy of the first Star Wars prequel from Comicpalooza 2019 in Houston, Texas before a live audience! It's not all bad as the pod race & lightsaber duels get a lot of love in this look back at the film that put Star Wars back into the lime light!
We also talk the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, talk about the exciting things going on at Comicpalooza and preview our next film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? all from Comicpalooza 2019!

Eric Draven & his fiance Shelly are brutally murdered the day before their wedding on Devil's Night in Detroit. A year later Eric returns from the grave to right the wrongs done to him and Shelly. He marches through the city taking out the evil doers one by one until a confrontation with the man behind it all in the film's powerful conclusion. It's a love story like no other in Alex Proyas' cult classic. Brandon Lee mesmerizes the screen as Eric Draven in this spectacular 1994 film based on James O'Barr's comic book with a classic soundtrack that still resonates today. We discuss The Crow and Mark probably knows way to much about this movie!
We also get ready for Comicpalooza next week, as well as tell you what we have watched in Download This, discuss the latest news including that weird Sonic The Hedgehog trailer and preview next week's film that we will cover live from Comicpalooza. We are in the endgame now! One of the most anticipated films of all time arrived in theaters this weekend after a build up that began in 2008 and 22 films later we have watched the Marvel Cinematic Universe unfold and now come full circle with the release of Avengers: Endgame. We go in depth discussing the accumulation of the Infinity Saga as the Avengers look for a way to reverse what Thanos did after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. We break the film down and talk the journey of the heroes in this finale of the current chapter of the MCU. There are spoilers abound but we give you fair warning when they begin so no worries there if you have not seen the film yet!
We also look at the legacy of the MCU, where it goes from here, and talk about our 5 favorite moments from the first chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Plus we tell you what we have watched in Download This, discuss the latest news, continue to prepare for Comicpalooza, and preview next week's film, 1994's The Crow. Thanks for listening!

Aliens are living on our planet in the slums of the an area known as District 9 in South Africa! It's up to one man to try to hand out eviction notices as they attempt to move all of the aliens. It turns into much more than he bargained for as his world crumbles around him as he tries to survive while uncovering sinister details about District 9 itself. It's Neil Blomkamp's directorial debut film District 9 & we discuss it live from Misfit Toys in Houston, Texas!

Space & Beyond Month continues as we look back at the cult classic science fiction film, Enemy Mine. Dennis Quaid & Louis Gossett Jr. star in this Wolfgang Peterson film as a long space war looms on between the humans and the Dracs. Quaid is human pilot Davidge who crash lands on a hostile planet with a Drac solider named Jeriba. First they set out to kill or capture one another but quickly realize to survive they must put their differences aside & join forces. A friendship like no other develops as their quest for survival reveals that sometimes your enemies can be your closes friends! We take a look at this cult classic & go behind the scenes of the production, the film itself, & more!
