They talk about the earliest Star Wars expanded universe books and comics and then the "relaunch" of the galaxy when Dark Horse started publishing comics and Heir To The Empire hit store shelves. They discuss their favorite expanded universe characters and the pre-Disney canon compared to the new canon. The talk leads into Star Wars Rebels which is big part of that new canon and what they think of the show and how it fits in.You can't talk about the Star Wars expanded universe without talking about 1996's Shadows Of The Empire and they do just that and how it all fit in with things and decide that in their minds it's still part of canon even if Lucasfilm says it's not!The show wraps up with some talk about the latest happenings on The Walking Dead and AMC's new show Into The Badlands and their thoughts on it! The road to Star Wars: The Force Awakens begins here! Your host Mark is joined by Matt & Frank as the trio begin the road to the newest film in the Star Wars saga by first looking back at how we got here. We discuss our first memories of seeing the original Star Wars and it's two sequels. What were our favorite moments from those films and what did we think of the 1997 special editions, which was actually Matt's first exposure to Star Wars!We then discuss the prequels and our original thoughts in 1999 when The Phantom Menace hit theaters, what might have we done a little different on the prequels, and more We end the show with a brief discussion of the latest Walking Dead going on's and we even get a kilt joke or two in. The long awaited second volume of Rebel Radio Classics has arrived featuring more insanity from when Rebel Radio was an internet radio show back in 2006! We are counting down our 10th Anniversary by bringing you these classics from way back when. In this second volume your host Mark a.k.a DJ Trey, Frank a.k.a Biscuit, and Matt a.k.a Electric Monkey are joined by their friend from the Bronx, Dago Nick! Nick isn't always the most narrow edged guy and he brings some of his street sense to Rebel Radio as only he could. The crew interviews Nick about his Bronx life, they then listen to his views on Spider-Man 3, and we talk some Star Wars and hear how funny it is when you add the word "pants" to certain lines in the Star Wars Trilogy!
